Hello, friends!

​My name is Pastor Charley Munro, and I have the privilege of serving as the pastor here at Living Grace Church in Tyler, Texas. I want to personally welcome you to our church blog, a space where faith and everyday life meet.

I was raised here in Tyler, and after many years of living and serving all over Texas, God has graciously called me back home to the Piney Woods of East Texas. Most recently, I served as pastor in Goliad, Texas. Before entering full-time ministry, I spent a number of years serving in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, and later worked in law enforcement. Those seasons of service gave me a wide range of experiences in life, people, and leadership that have shaped how I serve in ministry today.

I have also worked as an architect and designer, helping others build homes that reflect order, beauty, and purpose. In many ways, I see ministry in a similar way, as helping people build lives that reflect the grace and design of God.

I am married to my wonderful wife, Denise, and we have been married for twenty-seven years. Together, we have three grown children and several beautiful grandchildren who bring tremendous joy to our lives. Family is one of God’s greatest blessings, and I treasure the lessons He continues to teach me through them.

I am also an author. My first book, Standing on the Promises, shares about God’s unwavering faithfulness and how we can stand firm on His Word. I am currently working on the publication of my second book, which I look forward to sharing soon.

Through this blog, I plan to share thoughts, devotionals, and articles that I pray will encourage your faith and draw you closer to Christ. Some posts will focus on Scripture, others will speak to the daily walk of faith, and occasionally, I will share updates about what God is doing here at Living Grace Church.

My hope is that this space becomes a source of encouragement, a place to pause, reflect, and be reminded of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
